Step back in time at this Classic Tybee Cottage that retains the feel of an historic beach cottage but with modern updates like the glass enclosed porches and modern kitchen and bath fixtures. The covered patio lets you enjoy the ‘outdoors’ without being directly in the sun. Located Mid-Island, Tybee’s ‘Downtown’ is only about 3/4 of a mile away with shops, restaurants and bars, the Tybee Island Pier and Pavilion and the Tybee Island Marine Science Center. The Tybee Light Station and Museum and more shops and restaurants (some of Tybee’s best!) are just a short drive away.

NOTE: There is no direct beach access on Shirley Road. To reach the beach, go back to Butler Avenue then go left to 10th Street and left again to the dune walkover to the beach at the end of the street. Do not walk through other yards to reach 10th Street. There are two bedrooms, one bathroom and two beach showers in the lower level of this property which are accessed by passing through a secured breezeway/outdoor living area.
