PLEASE NOTE: Dogs are not allowed on the beaches anywhere on Tybee Island – see Tybee Beach Rules. Violators are subject to a $300 fine on the first offense! Make sure you make arrangements for proper care for your pet before heading to the beach!

Please pick-up and properly dispose of your dog’s waste; do you, or future guests, want to smell or step in, previously deposited dog poop? We think not. Tybee does have two Dog Parks located at the intersection of Van Horne and Fort Streets between the Police Station and River's End Campground and RV Park. For practical reasons, the dog parks are only open from dawn ‘til dusk.

Outstanding Place!

Our family gathered here for Thanksgiving. We absolutely adored this home. We had a fairly large party. 5 adults and 4 little ones (all under the age of 10). The house gave us all plenty of room and was even able to accommodate my brother who is recovering from a vertebrate fracture and shoulder injury and could not climb the stairs (he had his own room and bath downstairs). The kids loved the roof access and could be found running around inside and outside playing hide and seek and making memories just being kids. I was surprised at how little time they spent in front of their screens. Our dog was able to easily go in and out the downstairs door to the backyard by way of a magnetic screen which made things easier for everyone. Super clean! Loved the close proximity to the beach (which was wonderful this time of year). The kids found tons of shells and even a couple of shark teeth (things you never find on Gulf Coast beaches). Short drive to Savannah for Ghost Tour night on the town which was a blast and educational. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be going back. Next time we will probably look for a place with a pool. Thank you for the lovely accomodations!

Unique house

My sister described it as yard sale meets consignment shop meets tiki bar. The house has so much “character.” We loved it and it suited our needs perfectly.
