Nice intro to Tybee Island

The house was very nice and apparently has undergone some updating. (I believe the last half of the pictures on VRBO are the more accurate.) My daughter loved having her own area (bed/bath) downstairs and we all had plenty of personal space. The location is great with a short walk to the beach and a short drive to local restaurants etc.. We normally stay where we have a beach view and missed that, but from the top deck you can see a small part of the ocean. There were plenty of cooking utensils and lots of books and games. The only negatives were that there was trash left in the kitchen when we arrived and it caused a slight smell and I did spot a silverfish in one of the drawers. One more negative is that we were unable to rent a golf cart because they are not allowed to cross the four-lane except at lights so there was no way to get it to the house. Overall, we had a great experience in a beautiful home we kind of hated to leave.
