The Tybee Beach Bum Parade is a wonderful opportunity for locals and tourists to take part in a fun and family-friendly water fight. Originally, the event started out over 30 years ago as a water fight between two softball teams on Tybee.
Today, it has grown into an annual tradition and has become one of the island’s most entertaining evenings for the entire community to enjoy. This year, the Tybee Beach Bum Parade is back for its 33rd year and is bigger and better than ever.
Don’t miss out on the South’s largest water fight! If you’re ready for a good time, grab your water guns and take aim at parade floats as they pass by. However, to ensure that everyone has fun and stays safe, it is important for participants to remember that only water should be used and to refrain from throwing water balloons or using pressure washers.
